What Is It?
Journaling is the practice of writing down your thoughts, ideas, observations, and plans about your tennis-related activities. This can be a daily activity, or, you can do your journaling on a less regular basis, as long as you keep some consistency. Your journal can include simple notes, fully-developed thoughts, or even pictures. Journaling can be done in the quiet of early morning, or before you go to bed. It can even be done during a match, when your observations are vivid and detailed or right after you get off the court.
Why Do It?
Writing or recording your thoughts is a valuable tool to help you keep focused on what really matters for your tennis and personal growth. A journaling practice can be grounding, enlightening, and motivational as you work through the process of becoming a better tennis player.
